SMS Program Terms & Consent

Wren Trip Updates, a program of Dube International, LLC. Last updated September 16, 2026

1. Program description

Wren Trip Updates is an SMS program operated by Dube International, LLC. Wren is a phone-intake service that answers booking calls for non-emergency medical transportation providers. The program sends transactional messages only: booking confirmations and pickup reminders to riders who booked by phone, a payment link to a rider or family member who asks on the call to pay by card, and operational ride alerts to the transportation provider’s own dispatch staff. Dube International sends no marketing or promotional messages under this program, and no marketing opt-in exists.

2. How consent is collected

Riders opt in verbally during a recorded inbound phone call to their transportation provider’s booking line, which is answered by Wren. After the ride details are read back and confirmed, the assistant asks exactly:

“Would it be alright for Wren, [Provider]’s text messaging service, to text you updates about this trip? Message and data rates may apply, message frequency varies, and you can reply STOP at any time to opt out.”

[Provider] is spoken as the name of the transportation provider the caller dialed, for example Graceful Living Transportation.

Opting in is optional. It is never preselected, and it is not a condition of booking or of receiving transportation service. A clear verbal yes on the recorded call is the only opt-in; any other answer means no messages are sent.

Transportation provider dispatch staff opt in separately, in writing, during service onboarding to receive operational ride alerts. Consent applies only to the Wren Trip Updates program described on this page and is not transferred to any other program. A representative transcript of the opt-in exchange is published at SMS Consent Transcript.

3. Payment links

A payment link is sent only when the person on the call asks to pay by card and agrees to receive the link, at their own mobile number, which the assistant reads back for confirmation. The assistant asks in these words:

“I can text you a secure link to pay by card. Is it alright to send it to this number? Message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP at any time to opt out.”

One link is sent per trip. The link opens a payment page hosted by the transportation provider’s payment processor, and the amount shown is the price quoted on the call. Wren does not ask for card numbers by phone or by text, does not collect or store card details, and no card information is ever sent in a message. The same STOP and HELP keywords apply.

4. Frequency, rates, opt-out, and help

Message frequency varies with your bookings and trip activity; a typical booked trip generates one to three messages. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out; you will receive a single confirmation of your opt-out and no further messages. Reply HELP for help at any time. For customer care, email contact@wren.talk or call your transportation provider’s office. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
